Bidding

The buyer will be the bidder who upon the closing of bids has made the highest bid. If equal bids are made, or in the event of disputes arising during the bidding, Aurum Auktioner AB alone will decide which bidder who has the right of purchase. Aurum Auktioner AB also has the right to decide on all matters concerning the auction procedure including the right to depart from the order of the objects as listed in the catalogue, the right to sell several objects simultaneously or to withdraw any object from the auction. Bidders unknown to Aurum Auktioner AB are kindly requested to give references prior to the auction. Aurum Auktioner AB is entitled to disregard bids from any bidder having outstanding debts due to Aurum Auktioner AB or who, for some other reason, are regarded as unlikely to meet their debts and who have not established acceptable security covering any purchase prior to the auction. Every buyer is personally responsible for his/her purchases, unless approval has been extended by Aurum Auktioner AB entitling an agent to bid on behalf of a third party. Nominee sale or other consignment directions of the subject of the sale to a purchaser other than the bidder who bid for the object is not allowed. Aurum Auktioner AB is in no case responsible for financial loss alleged to have been inflicted by the auction.

Prices

The prices in the catalogues are minimum prices and are in SEK.

Absentee bids

Aurum Auktioner AB may be appointed at no cost to bid on behalf of a client. Such appointments must be received by Aurum Auktioner AB in writing no longer than the day before the auction. Bids made on behalf of clients will be raised according to the scale set under "Minimum increases to bids" below. E.g. minimum price is 500:-, bid is 1000:-. If there is only one mail bid, bidding starts at 500:- and with increase of 50:- on the following bids from the floor or on the telephone. If there are two or more mail bids we start bidding at the next best bid with the lowest possible increase according to the table below. E.g. estimated price 500:-, mail bid I: 1000:-, mail bid II: 1.500:-, the bidding will start at 1100:- and 100:- added for following bids up to the maximum bid. In event of several bids made for the same amount, preference will be given to the earliest bid received. Aurum Auktioner AB reserves the right to disregard bidding appointments that have been submitted if the client is considered unable to pay for the bid submitted. Unlimited bids are not accepted. Aurum Auktioner AB is not liable for any loss that the client suffers as a result of Aurum Auktioner AB failing to carry out the bidding assignment.

Premium

A purchase premium of 18,75 percent (15% + VAT) is added to the price for each object.

Payment

Objects purchased shall be paid in cash immediately or directly after the auction. In the event that other payment terms are desired, an agreement to this effect this must be made with Aurum Auktioner AB prior the commencement of the auction. In connection with the purchase by means of absentee bids, payment shall be made in cash no later than ten days from the day of the auction. If payment is not made when due, Aurum Auktioner AB is entitled either to rescind he purchase, resell the object on behalf of the buyer or demand payment. Until such time as the purchase is rescinded or Aurum Auktioner AB resells the object, all unpayed invoices or parts there of will be subject to a charge of penalty interest of two percent per month on the amount overdue. In addition, Aurum Auktioner AB is entitled to compensation for any costs involved in conjunction with the delay in payment, and Aurum Auktioner AB will be entitled to deduct such compensation from any amount received upon resale.

Delivery

Objects payed for in cash may be collected immediately and objects purchased by means of absentee bids, must be collected on first wednesday after the auction on the location stated by Aurum Auktioner. Upon request, aquired objects will be sent to the buyer as soon as possible, at the expense and risk of the buyer. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to comply with all foreign customs and exchange regulations. Aurum Auktioner AB declines all responsibility for any consequence arising from contravention of such regulations.

Liability for defects

All objects are sold as is. It is the buyer´s responsibility, prior to the auction, and by means of his/her own examination during the period stipulated in the catalogue, to asses the condition and the quality of the objects. Information given in the catalogue concerning authenticity serves only as a guide for the buyer in connection with his/her examination of the objects. Aurum Auktioner AB is not liable for incorrect information unless the incorrect information was provided as a result of gross negligance. Notice of any defects must be given immediately after the buyer discovered or should have discovered the defect, but not later than thirty (30) days after the purchase. For technical reasons there may be colour deviations in the printing.

Disputes

Disputes concerning the relationship governed by these terms and conditions shall be settled in accordance with Swedish law before Swedish courts of general jurisdiction and the District Court of Stockholm shall be the court of of first instance. Swedish law shall apply.

20.000 - 50.000 = 1.000:-
50.000 - 100.000 = 2.000:-

Degrees of rarity

Unique = Unique in private and public collections.
RRRR = 1-2 specimens in private collections.
RRR = 3-5 specimens in private collections.
RR = 6-10 specimens in private collections.
R = More than 10 specimens in private collections though rarely offered for sale.

Degrees of preservation

Please note that the grading in this catalogue is set according to Swedish grading standard which is very strict. For example, a coin graded 1+ (VF) may very well be considered VF / EF in many other countries.
